Oh bless her. It does look nice aqnd neat and tidy though. bless her having a reaction to the bandage though :(
Looking very good! :D :D
The rash is weird. Vets have any idea?
The vet came out to speak to me and asked me what I thought. I said I was amazed by what a tidy job it was. Shame the daft filly decided to react to the bandage as she was doing really well. It's really swollen because they had to go straight from a massive bandage to nothing. We are hopefully set for a full and total recovery though which is good. I am amazed by how unfazed about it all she is.
ETA: Not really MrsM. some people say reaction to adhesive in the bandage and some say clipper rash. I can believe either. She is a thin skinned little thing. It's only really the hair dropping out. It looks worse on the photos than it does in RL
Would a different type/make of bandage work I wonder? Or what about something like tubigrip underneath?
I think they're seriously hoping it can stay open now. They're cleaning it and putting on flamazine and as long as she stays still there is no reason to bandage it back up. Just have to keep fingers crossed she doesn't start to wriggle. As long as there is food she is still as a rock though. Fatty :D
Lol, what a description, the poor wee Nitty one :D
Poor Nitty. Very neat job by the vets though!
