We've moved :)
We moved BB on Friday, thanks to a lovely transporter who managed to load her in just under an hour :) BB has settled well with the two ponies belonging to the lady who now rents my old field and is subletting to me. I swear BB has had a huge grin on her face since she got back, she is so relaxed and calm. It made me realise how unhappy she had been for the last three months.
Today I took delivery of the two year old I had only
seen one blurry photo of. He is in pretty poor condition, very thin and extremely dirty, but he is a friendly little chap who loves a fuss. I think my gut instinct was definitely right on this occasion :)
Since moving over the weekend I have no internet access and limited 'G' so photos may take a while, but I am trying to upload some onto photo bucket. I'll put them on this thread asap and will be asking for name suggestions. I already have one in mind, but someone may come up with something that suits him better :)

Great news, glad BB is happy

Glad the move went well, and bb is looking happier already.
looking forward to pics of the new boy, too.

He really is quite poor, his back end is very weak and you only need to stroke him lightly to feel his ribs, despite his thick coat.

Worm, worm, worm! Sure you know that but we had to frequently worm one of ours who looked a little like your boy, more often than recommended on the packet.
he looks a nice type, and wow! What a lot of bone!
Is he gelded?
-
Wormers have already been ordered :)
He was gelded last year, and is up to date with flu and tet vacs. As I only paid £100 for him I reckon I got a good deal.

Glad the move went well and BB is happier :)
New boy looks like a nice sort, I will look forward to seeing him in a couple of months when I'm sure he'll look like a different horse.
Name wise, he looks like a 'Milo' to me :D

So glad it went well and BB seems happier already. Little lad looks a fun sort!
Don't know why, but looking at the second picture made me think 'Chas'!

Different day, no longer looks like a Chas, but possibly a Frank pmsl :D :D :D
Jester?

I've decided on Chester :)
It wasn't a name that had even crossed my mind until Mrs M mentioned it, and it suits him down to the ground.
I am so please with the boy, he loves his cuddles and I can't wait to see him cleaned up and with a bit of weight on him.

Chester's good.
lovely name for a lovely boy.
