I have little knowledge of how horses heat themselves, other than its something to do with forage and the resultant heating action.
I know my horse pile around the hay when it's cold, thereby getting more forage in easier than scrubbing about for it, but my question is: how do they cope when the weather is hot? They're still eating a fair amount of the time. What happens to all that heat they're generating?
