What is the Difference Between a Pessoa and an EquiAmi?

A kind friend tried to explain to me the other day, but I'm t'ick and it didn't sink in

I use a Pessoa as my horses have all, to date(!), responded well to it. I don't tend to get the mouth jabbing that others have mentioned. So either I'm doing it wrong or it just suits my horses for some reason.

So, how does the EquiAmi work? What's different to the Pessoa?

I think they just do up slightly differently.

They look exactly the same to me when they are on the horse, other than the equiami is massively thin behind the bum which I dont like.

Personally think passoas work just fine!

    hi there
The main differences are the equi ami comes in 2 pieces first piece goes around the bum then has a loop which goes through the rings on the roller and back on itself.
second piece attaches to this and goes to the bit and between the legs.

most of my others have been fine in the pessoa, but Emil hated it, he loves the equi ami though

Might be the one for Boyo then! The others were fine and steady heads, but he might be a bit different... I'll ask if I can borrow a friend's I try when the time is right
