This morning the buns were fine.

This afternoon we got home to find Lord dead. No marks or signs of stress on him. He was lying with his head at an odd angle, so all I can think at the moment is he did something to his neck.

Lady was so pleased to see us she practically leapt into my arms. She's now in the dining room in what was the guineapigs house. Shes a bit dull of eye but eating hay and drinking water. D will take her to the vet tomorrow for a check up. They were only there a few weeks ago and both had a clean bill of health.

She's still having a good nibble on hay and is moving around the hutch thing.

We'd just been planning their new hutch and run

Will have to get another bun to keep Lady company. Off to Google what and how.

It was a shock indeed. We were planning out their new hutch and run will go, and now he's buried there.

I'm all sorts of sad. Hard to put into words as we didn't do a lot together. He wasn't the kind to be held and would be stroked if he thought food was in the offing, but he was just a lovely lad and I'm missing him.
