Thanks everyone, its fab to see Mini smile and to smile with him
It was D's 'back end' that encouraged us to buy him, he was very unfurnished when we first saw him and I wondered what we had gone to view, but as soon as we saw hin trot we were won over. He is still filling out and needs more strength behind, but we are taking him slowly. Was very happy on Sunday to feel so much difference in his movement since November (the surfaces at the college are alot better than at our yard so its easier to compare how he moves) just need a bit more work on the canter but it is coming along nicely
Thanks everyone, not sure if Mini was looking happy/concentrating, D was rather more 'uphill' and 'forward' than usual, think the snow had given him a boost and Mini was concerned that he may get a faster ride than he wanted/ expected, but true to form D looked after him and waited to be a little more excited until I got on. So love that pony, Mini is at risk of losing him to me, unfortunately he doesn't want to do a swap for my rather sharper TB
